Some of our and our customers favorite dining options in Star.

A Guide to Star, Idaho's local dining scene.

Star is a peaceful town just a half hour from Boise. Filled with beautiful neighborhoods and storefronts, a casual stroll around the town is something to behold. While it’s one of Idaho’s smaller towns, there are plenty of dining options in Star.

Sully’s Pub & Grill

11123 W State St.
Star, ID 83669

For some of the best sandwiches in Star, Sully’s just cannot be beat. The Bostonian Club is impressive. Packed with roasted ham, bacon and turkey with lettuce and tomato on sourdough bread, one bite and you’ll realize why the regulars salivate over it. Be sure to visit on Saturday night, the only night they serve their signature Saturday Night Prime Rib. Their appetizers are great for something a little lighter, especially the minimally battered Flash Fired Calamari.

K Bravo’s

965 N Finsbury Way
Star, ID 83669

K Bravo’s is Star’s place for wood-fired pizza. If you’re big on mushrooms, the Woodland pizza with sausage is a must-try. For spicy, their Jalapeño Pizza is almost as fiery as the wood-fire oven used to cook it. Heck, even their pepperoni pizza is amazing. The pepperonis come in huge slices are unlike other pizza joints, K Bravo’s never overcooks them. If you like a bit of variety in your meal, don't forget to add on one of their delicious salads! Fresh and tasty, just like their 'za!

El Mariachi Loco

9966 W State St.
Star, ID 83669

With a beautiful ambiance, both inside and out, and amazing margaritas, El Mariachi Loco is great for a night out. The inside is very vibrant. The booths are lined with tile art and the walls are packed with Mexican artwork. The steak here is excellent, and it’s priced pretty fairly to boot. The seafood is great too, especially the 7 Mares, a mix of seven types of seafood cooked in their house soup. While it’s an authentic Mexican restaurant, they also serve burgers and salads for those who are unsure of the menu.

Star Country Cafe

10883 W State St
Star, ID 83669

Star Country Cafe is a great choice for some down-home cooking in a beautiful restaurant. Crowd favorites here are the biscuits and homemade gravy and the chicken fried steak, which is the perfect mix of crunchy and juicy. As would be expected from a homestyle restaurant, the portions here are huge, so if you aren’t that hungry order up a half plate and save some money. We've been here a few times while we've been in town, and truthfully, no matter what we've ordered... It's been delicious!
